A dramatic specimen with lustrous, pearlescent mesolite needles set in a Thomsonite covered vug in basalt matrix.  This is from the Jaquish Road Cut, near Goble, Columbia County, Oregon.  An unusual formation - it almost looks like a star. Use care when picking this one up - the tiny hairlike crystals are fragile.  You will have thousands of little spines in your fingertips (yes, this just happened) .   14.57 oz, 4x2.5 inches
